With the focus on "energy conservation, consumption reduction, emission reduction and efficiency enhancement", CNOOC has built a green manufacturing system in the process of product design, production and manufacturing, factory construction, green management, and a green supply chain system for wind turbines based on the full life cycle, and strives to minimize the impact of enterprise operation and development on the environment. In 2019 and 2020, it was successively included in the fourth batch of "green factories" and the fifth batch of "green supply chain management enterprises" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, as well as in the 2021 green design product list.
In terms of green design, CSIC has studied key technologies such as lightweight/modularized/demountable/remanufactured design of large-scale wind power equipment, led the construction of green design platform and integrated demonstration, and formed a series of research achievements in improving the reliability of wind power equipment and improving the effective utilization of wind resources and environmental coordination. In terms of green manufacturing, CNOOC Haizhuang has developed a number of green products with high safety and reliability by building a life-cycle management and evaluation system for large-scale wind power equipment, forming a new green manufacturing mode driven by green design technology innovation. In terms of green factory construction, China Sea Decoration Group Co., Ltd. has carried out lighting transformation for the workshop, developed the central air-conditioning intelligent control system, laid photovoltaic on the roof of the factory, and gradually increased the proportion of green electricity. In terms of green management, CSIC has built a comprehensive energy management framework to continuously improve energy utilization efficiency, led the preparation of the first green design product standard for gear driven wind turbine generator sets in the wind power industry - Technical Specification for Green Design Product Evaluation - Gear driven Wind Turbine Generator Sets, and participated in the formulation of green manufacturing standards such as the Code for Green Supply Chain Evaluation of Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing, Evaluate the green supply chain management of wind power equipment parts enterprises to promote the green and sustainable development of wind power industry.

Since 2021, under the guidance of the strategic idea of "innovation leading, simultaneous development of sea and land, and striving to become strong in the sea", CSIC has kept ahead and innovated. From 5 MW on land to 16 MW on the sea, from the localization of units to the deep sea, various green and high-quality wind power products have been born and upgraded, making positive contributions to China's green and low-carbon transformation of energy.
In May 2021, the first 5MW home-made offshore wind turbine of China National Offshore Installation Corporation will go offline, breaking the foreign technology monopoly and blockade; In September, the first 8MW and 10MW units independently developed by CSIC went offline one after another. Among them, H210-10MW units created the record of the largest sweep area per kilowatt in the world at that time, and led the era of offshore wind power parity with the attitude of "three yuan in a row"; In October, China's offshore H256-16MW wind turbine was certified, pushing China's offshore wind power sector to a new height; In June 2022, the first far-reaching offshore floating wind power equipment in China, "Fuyao", led by CSIC, was installed, filling the gap in China's far-reaching offshore floating wind power equipment; At the same time, CSIC started mass production and installation of super large H23X platform units designed for the customization of affordable offshore wind power, creating the first batch application of large megawatt offshore wind power units in China.
Up to now, China's offshore wind turbines operating globally generate about 50 billion kilowatt hours of electricity every year, which is equivalent to saving more than 20 million tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dust by more than 13 million tons, carbon dioxide by more than 49 million tons, sulfur dioxide by more than 1.5 million tons, nitrogen oxides by more than 700000 tons, and afforestation by more than 2 million mu every year, so as to promote the realization of the "dual carbon" goal with practical actions.

As the leading unit of the wind power industry cluster of China Shipbuilding Group, CNOOC Yongdang is a pioneer in implementing the strategy of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization. In combination with the new situation of digital development, it has built a carbon emission monitoring platform, developed an EHS (environment and occupational health and safety) information management system, and cooperated with the National Energy Conservation Center and other institutions to comprehensively investigate the carbon emissions of CNOOC headquarters and its subordinate bases. Based on the current status of carbon emissions, It has formulated the goals of the 14th Five Year Plan for energy conservation and ecological environment protection of China National Offshore Equipment Corporation, released the path of "carbon peaking and carbon neutralization", and promised that China National Offshore Equipment Corporation will achieve carbon neutralization by the end of the 14th Five Year Plan.
In August 2022, the first wind light storage system project in the plant built by CSIC was successfully completed and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. This project is the first distributed power supply project of Chongqing North Bureau. It is integrated into the 380V plant power grid in the mode of "self use surplus power online". After the system is put into operation, it will greatly increase the proportion of green power used by enterprises and play a good carbon reduction effect and demonstration role. Next, China Haizhuang will continue to play a good green combination boxing, draw a new picture of zero carbon, and contribute more strength to the realization of carbon neutral goals and the green and low-carbon transformation of national energy through a series of actions such as tackling green and low-carbon technologies, green environmental protection production, green product creation, comprehensive energy transformation, construction of zero carbon industrial parks, green and low-carbon office work, and advocating green travel.
