"One small step" of electrical wind power,
On August 10, the first EW11.0-208 unit of the Petrel Haiyan platform of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group (referred to as Electric Wind Power, stock code: 688660) was successfully connected to the grid in the Electric Wind Power Shantou Smart Energy Demonstration Project, sending out the first kilowatt hour of power, breaking the record of the capacity of a single unit that has been connected to the grid in China.
This is a "small step" in the scientific research and innovation of electrical wind power, and also a "big step" in China's offshore wind power. The grid connected power generation of Petrel Haiyan EW11.0-208 marks that China's offshore wind power has officially entered the 11MW era.
Electric wind power has added a new dimension to the history of wind power development in China.
Combining more than 10 years of leading experience in offshore wind power, it took three years of independent research and development to grasp the market demand in the era of parity, and electric wind power launched the Petrel Haiyan platform - aiming at "high yield" and focusing on "high reliability".
Petrel Haiyan inherits the years of leading knowledge accumulation of electric wind power, carries out in-depth technical penetration of key components, achieves major breakthroughs in key technologies, continues the "high reliability" product gene, and further improves unit efficiency and realizes "high income" through technological innovation.
The EW11.0-208 connected to the grid this time has a hub center height of 115m, an impeller diameter of 208m, a single blade length of 102m, a sweeping area equivalent to 4.7 football fields, an annual power generation of 40.4 million kilowatt hours, which can meet the power demand of about 20200 households in a year, and is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions of 34000 tons.

The EW11.0-208 unit, which generated the first kilowatt hour of power, stands in the first batch of green smart energy projects in China - electric wind power Shantou smart energy demonstration project.
The project is currently equipped with 2.4MW roof photovoltaic, 11MW wind turbine, 1MWh full vanadium liquid flow energy storage&1MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage, charging pile, "5G+" plant IOT system, microgrid control system and smart energy management platform. It is the largest smart energy project in Guangdong Province and the first industrial park level "energy Internet plus" demonstration project integrating "wind, light, storage, charging and intelligence".
The project integrates smart new energy, smart energy storage, smart distribution network, digital factory, smart park and smart transportation system, provides one-stop industrial Internet solutions from the perception layer, network layer, platform layer to application layer, and enables energy management in modern industrial parks. It is the first batch of green smart energy projects in China and a benchmark demonstration project of 5G industrial Internet smart wind power application.
After the unit is connected to the grid, with the help of the intelligent energy management platform, while ensuring the power supply reliability and high quality power quality, it can realize the energy self-organization, self optimization, self use, and residual power grid connection.
EW11.0-2008 can generate 40.4 million kWh of electricity and 3.1 million kWh of photovoltaic power in the park. It is estimated that 35.4 million kWh can be directly connected to the grid while meeting the power demand of the park. Based on the current benchmark price of 0.453 yuan/kWh for coal-fired power generation in Guangdong Province, the direct economic benefit of about 16 million yuan/year can be achieved only for the direct grid connection.
The successful grid connection of the first 11MW unit of electric wind power Petrel Haiyan platform not only fulfills the development idea of "being good at wind, not only in wind", but also leads China's offshore wind power to officially enter the 11MW era.
